We often use words like ‘happy’, ‘merry’, ‘bright’, and ‘cheer’ to describe the holiday season, but for many people the holidays are the exact opposite of these words. Many people dread the holiday season with its stress, busyness, and family gatherings. Others experience intense loneliness, depression, or grief. This series explores these ares of our soul and seeks to invite God into the un-happiness of the holiday season.
